The Sabres, Hurricanes and Canadiens won this year’s NHL Draft lottery and will select first, second and third, respectively. The remainder or the draft order is now finalized with the conclusion of the Stanley Cup playoffs, barring the inevitable trades that will shake things up.

When & where is the 2018 NHL Draft?

The 2018 NHL Draft will be held June 22-23 in Dallas. The first round will take place Friday, June 22, with Rounds 2-7 on Saturday, June 23.

The American Airlines Center, home of the Dallas Stars, will host the draft. This is the first time the event has been hosted in the state of Texas.
