While fans will have to wait until January to see Weber’s journey, he’s expected to start filming the season on Friday. That gives him three whole months, and a little extra, to find love before the premiere episode airs to the public. Weber’s filming timeline has been teased by spoiler site Reality Steve.
Weber was introduced to Bachelor Nation during Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette. Since the announcement of his casting, some fans have voiced their displeasure at the choice. Many said they were rooting for Mike Johnson, who would have been the show’s first black Bachelor.
Backlash or not, the show will go on. The Bachelor released photos and names of Weber’s possible loves on Facebook Tuesday. There were 33 women shown, which means it’s possible not all will make the final cut. A Bachelor or Bachelorette usually dates less than 30 people in one season.
Fans may get a further sneak peek into the cast and Weber’s journey to find love next week. Spoilers claim Tuesday will host a public date between Weber and the women. It could be a group date or a one-on-one.
Last week, Weber was spotted filming promotional footage at Los Angeles International Airport. Weber, who is a pilot, was dressed in his full uniform and rolling a suitcase behind him. The photos were shared on Twitter by Reality Steve.
The spoiler site also revealed the locations Weber and the women will travel. It’s said the international sites will be Chile, Peru and Costa Rica, in no particular order. To wrap up the season, overnight dates and a possible proposal is scheduled to take place in Australia.
The first episode of Weber’s season of The Bachelor will air on ABC January 6.
