When Are the ‘America’s Got Talent’ Semifinals?
There are two semifinals in America’s Got Talent, spread across two weeks.
The 21 acts will take to the Dolby Theatre stage in L.A. in a bid to impress the judges and audiences at home.
The first acts will perform on the first semifinal results show on Tuesday, August 31 with the remaining acts performing on Tuesday, September 7.
Both live semifinals will be followed by a live results show on Wednesday, September 1, and Wednesday, September 8 respectively, where the acts who made it through to the final will be revealed.
Who Is Performing in the ‘America’s Got Talent’ Semifinals?
In total, 21 acts are performing in the America’s Got Talent semifinals.
The final will take place on Tuesday, September 14 with the final results show airing on Wednesday, September 15, and whoever takes home the America’s Got Talent crown this year will be entirely down to the public.

At the moment it is unknown if any acts who did not progress through to the semis from the quarterfinals will be brought back via a Wild Card vote next week.
In previous seasons, each judge has chosen to bring one act back or collectively as a group. In other seasons, the Wild Card vote has been open for the public to choose who they want to see in the semifinals.
However, the wild card vote has already been used this year, with singers Matt Mauser and Storm Large competing alongside stand-up comedian Mike Goodwin, magician Patrick Kun, and singer and keyboardist Dylan Zangwill.
Singer Storm Large was the winner of the wild card public vote but sadly she did not progress through to the semifinals, losing out on the Instant Save Vote to Michael Winslow.
The judges then chose to save performance group UniCircle Flow, with only judge Heidi Klum voting in favor of Large.
Newsweek has contacted NBC for comment about the potential return of the Wild Card vote for the semifinals.
The first America’s Got Talent semifinal takes place September 1 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
