For instance, the final version of the draining map has leaked to show a few changes, such as bodies of land rising in the southern portion of the island. While there’s no indication as to when the map will reach this final stage, according to Epic Games’ website the current season’s Battle Pass is set to end on August 26, meaning everything should be wrapped up by then....

However, due to a break held by Epic Games over the holidays, the end of season 7 has been pushed back to February 28. The season originally was supposed to end sooner, but it seems likely that Epic will need the extended time to get Fortnite season 8 ready.
